Since the Catalyst ConfigTool is build on Excel there are only certain versions that have been found to work without error. These versions are Excel 2003 Service Pak 3, Excel 2007 Service Pak 2 and Excel 2010 (32/64-bit versions). Not running the correct version can corrupt your ConfigTool and/or cause it just not to run.
